So finally I'm updating the blag. Last night with all my merely little energy, gf and I drove to billyburg to watch a show. Her good old Sentra with one off rim and with the magic of google map via itouch, we made it. Of course, I could not thank her more for 1. motivating me to go 2. driving me there. Kinda sad we had to leave Kai-kun behind. So off to Glasslands, I was pretty stoked to see The Pains of Being Pure at Heart and My Teenage Stride. We get there and Capstan Shafts were playing, the amps were terrible and I actually don't know if it's just the setting or because it is really a tiny lil amp that sucks. My mind was itching to get off there and see Portraits of Past on the other side of the block. Death by Audio was mad packed! I couldn't be happy more enjoying screamo and having my gf enjoy the show as well. Sweaty and some tummy aches we left the show early and got back at Glasslands. I believe The Beets were playing but tummy aches > shows, so we ended the night with some chicken and lamb at the halal spot in midtown. Yeah!

Also today were watching Sonic Youth~!

We're super sorry the show took forever and ever-- i think it was 1:00 am by the time we went on-- glasslands was having a bunch of technical issues, far beyond our control.
