Yohji Yamamoto SS08 Red Contrasting Stripe Shirt

Shirts are usually too boring or traditional but Yohji made this piece from Spring/Summer 2007-2008 collection that caught my eyes in red and awe. It is minimalist and edgy without being black. The red and ivory reminds me of the movie Dolls by Takeshi Kitano. This is no surprise since Yohji was the costume designer for the movie.

I have been hunting the shirt for a while on Yahoo Auctions and maybe one day I'll get it cheap but alas. So now it's available for $455 from Yoox which is probably half retail for a Yohji shirt. The shirt is made of 50% Rayon & 50% Cotton, too bad I can't yet pull the trigger on a shirt for 4 bills.
